17. What should be Noted When Installing an Air Filter?
- The working pressure should not exceed the maximum pressure specified by the filter.
- Filters should generally be installed after the aftercooler and air receiver, preferably close to the point of use and the lowest temperature point.
- Filters should not be installed after quick-opening valves, and measures should be taken to prevent backflow and impact phenomena.
- Filters should be installed vertically, with sufficient space left below for filter element replacement.
- Larger filters in the pipeline should have appropriate support.
